2 May 2013 / Rood Noot, Utrecht / With Read-in experimenting with ‘read-in while walking’ at the residency ‘MilesKm‘, Utrecht
2nd May, 2013
I will be joining MilesKm, a one week residency, on behalf of Read-in. MilesKm is a very interesting project initiated two years ago by my dear friend Sofia Montenegro, where artists, designers, curators and theoreticians are invited to live together for a tiny but intense period of time and engage in each other’s proposed activities. In this context Read-in will like to invite you to join us for a ‘Read-in while walking’ session. Aiming to respond to the industrial site and its “inhabitants” we will meet in Rood Noot to go out into Leidsche Rijn and engage in a mobile variation of our practice. This time, we will delve into the text ‘Against Space: Place, Movement, Knowledge’ which is part of the book Being Alive: Essays on movements, knowledge and description by Tim Ingold.
Location: Rood Noot
Oude Vleutenseweg 33
3541 BE Utrecht (Leidsche Rijn)
Time: 4:00pm
Reservations for this event are not necessary but appreciated. Please email: readin.research@gmail.com
